Cindy Sheehan For Congress

Cindy is running for Nancy Pelosi's seat. Given Pelosi's total betrayal of the American people as Speaker, I am asking for all my California readers to get involved with Cindy's campaign.

Do You Want a Defense Contractor Controlling The US Elections?

Yesterday, the New York Times reported a take-over attempt of the entire company by defense contractor conglomerate United Technologies Corp. (UTC). The initial $3 billion hostile bid to buy Diebold at $40/share is "a 66 percent premium over Diebold’s Friday closing price of $24.12," according to the Times' report.

Breaking News! : Hillary Clinton Required to Testify in November to FEC Fraud!

In the landmark civil fraud case against Bill Clinton in Los Angeles, where the former President is charged with defrauding a Hollywood dot com millionaire to help Hillary Clinton obtain more than $1.2 million from him for her 2000 Senate campaign, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Aurelio Munoz ruled on Friday, April 25 that Hillary Clinton would not be required to testify in a sworn deposition as a material witness in the case until AFTER the November election!

While Bill Clinton, Chelsea Clinton, Al Gore, Ed Rendell, Barabara Streisand, Cher, Stan Lee, Brad Pitt, Mike Wallace, Larry King et al may be called to testify and be deposed starting in May, Hillary alone has been protected from explaining her role in her husband's fraud charges.

Clintons to face fraud trial

Bill Clinton, according to the complaint, promised to promote Paul's Internet entertainment company, Stan Lee Media, in exchange for stock, cash options and massive contributions to his wife's 2000 Senate campaign. Paul contends he was directed by the Clintons and Democratic Party leaders to produce, pay for and then join them in lying about footing the bill for a Hollywood gala and fundraiser.

THE CLINTON BODY-COUNT

Just a quick refresher course lest we forget what has happened to many 'friends' of the Clinton's.

It's all but over for Hillary Clinton

The celebration, I feel, is still a bit premature. The cork is still in my own champagne bottle. Hillary did not get where she is playing nice, or playing by the rules. A lot of enemies of the Clintons died at convenient times, including the guy who wanted to run for the Senate seat Hillary sits in.

HAS-BEEN HILL STILL IGNORING THE INEVITABLE

Hillary Rodham Clinton trails Barack Obama by every reasonable measure, and it's become obvious to nearly everyone that she has virtually no hope of winning the nomination.

Yet the former first lady trudges on in some phantom contest oblivious to the sea of doubt around her.

... or ...

She has reason to think Obama might not be around much longer.

Sen. Leahy calls for Clinton to drop out

Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) today called on Hillary Rodham Clinton to drop out of the presidential race, saying there is no way the New York senator can wrest the nomination from her rival Barack Obama.

Sure there is ... if Obama gets "Arkanicided!"

Obama better stay out of small aircraft if he wants to beat Hillary.

Is Hillary broke?

Word is the cash feeding into Hillary Clinton's campaign coffers has not only slowed down in a big way, undisclosed campaign debts that have yet to be made public could signal the end and have insiders biting their nails.

Clinton campaign manager out

Clinton's campaign manager, Patti Solis Doyle, left the position today, to be replaced by Clinton's former top White House aide, Maggie Williams. The change formalizes a shift in the campaign's power structure that began to set in after Clinton's win in New Hampshire,

This might be a good time to mention all those Clinton fundraisers who died shortly after Bill took office.

Hillary Clinton's advisers 'in a state of panic'

Hillary Clinton's most senior advisers are in a state of "panic" about her presidential prospects and are plotting to enlist Democrat leaders in Congress to thwart her rival Barack Obama's ambitions.

"If you don't help me get 'Osama' out of the race, I'll tell everyone who got cash from the Mena operation!!!!"

The Audacity of Chutzpah

To that, Lewis retorted: "The role of the president of the United States is to support the decisions that are made by the people of Israel. It is not up to us to pick and choose from among the political parties." The audience members applauded.

And that right there tells you all you need to know about why this nation has gone into such a shit-hole.

Jewish functionaries stirring the Clinton-Obama race

Obama is working hard to allay the fears of "Israel's friends," a description reserved mainly for activists of the pro-Israeli lobby AIPAC and for Malcolm Hoenlein, the executive vice chairman of the Conference of Presidents. As far as they're concerned, whoever doesn't support the Israeli government's policy 100 percent is unfit for leadership.

This Haaretz article elevates one issue in the US presidential contest completely above all the rest.

Note the statement "...whoever doesn't support the Israeli government's policy 100 percent is unfit for leadership."

The person who becomes the President, in these next elections, must put the US first, second, third, and foremost in their thinking, and domestic and foreign policies.

Ohio Does Its Magic: Hillary's 3% Exit Poll Margin Morphs to 10% in the Vote

Ohio just did for HRC what it did for Bush in 2004.

Caucus chair uncovers discrepancies

When recounting, the volunteer noticed a whole list had Sen. Hillary Clinton written in similar handwriting in the presidential preference column for each of the six voters on that list. Skidmore started calling each of the voters on the list when he reached finance senior Ronesha Holmes, who told him she did not write Clinton as her preference; Holmes said she was instructed to leave that line blank.

If you were wondering why Hillary kept winning despite polls that favored Obama ... now you know.

Senior Democrats mull Al Gore's nomination

If neither Mr Obama nor Mrs Clinton has the 2,025 delegates needed to win the nomination, and if both appear unable to beat Mr McCain, under one scenario a group of about 100 party elders - the "super-delegates" - could sit out the first ballot in Denver, preventing either candidate winning outright, and then offer Mr Gore the nomination for the good of the party.

Well, let's see here ...

Some Al Gore sound bytes.

Unofficial Tallies in City Understated Obama Vote

Black voters are heavily represented in the 94th Election District in Harlem's 70th Assembly District. Yet according to the unofficial results from the New York Democratic primary last week, not a single vote in the district was cast for Senator Barack Obama.

That anomaly was not unique. In fact, a review by The New York Times of the unofficial results reported on primary night found about 80 election districts among the city's 6,106 where Mr. Obama supposedly did not receive even one vote, including cases where he ran a respectable race in a nearby district.

McCain says al Qaeda might try to tip U.S. election

I need a category for "total BS"

McCain embraces Bush's radical views of executive power

Virtually every abuse of the last eight years has its roots in the Bush/Cheney view of the President as Monarch, and John McCain clearly endorses its fundamentals. Indeed, when responding to a questionnaire on executive power circulated to all the candidates by The Boston Globe's Charlie Savage earlier this year, McCain (while paying lip service to nice principles and even taking the extreme position that he would never issue a signing statement) refused to say that there was even a single aspect of Bush's use of executive power that he found unconstitutional or otherwise objectionable:

If you liked everything that Bush has done during his two terms, you're gonna just love what John McCain has in store for this country, should he get elected.

McCain found a tool with which to woo conservative Republicans: Israel

How does one win over the more radical wing of his party without alienating the more centrist voters on which one relies to help him win not just the nomination but also the general election. McCain is using a couple of tools as to try and achieve this goal. One of them, and not a marginal one, is the State of Israel.

Senator Joe Lieberman is playing a role here. The staunchest Jewish supporter McCain has, Lieberman can promise both Jews and Evangelical voters that McCain is the candidate who will not abandon Israel (no wonder some people still think Lieberman is McCain's top pick for Vice President).

It is interesting to note in this Haaretz article that at this point in the campaign, a McCain/Lieberman ticket has been vetted as one of the most pro-Israel picks which can possibly exist on the Republican side of the isle. But don't forget: they're sizing up the Democrats to make sure that just such a ticket exists on that side as well.

So no matter who you vote for, Democrat or Republican (assuming you're not dealing with massive vote fraud, which has become a major, predictable factor in US elections), you're voting for wars, and more wars to neutralize Israel's enemies.

And because 09 is not an election year, watch for the re-emergence of conscription (excuse me, national service) to be passed by congress to fatten up military resources for these new wars.

McCain: Israel would suffer in Iraq pullout

A premature withdrawal from Iraq would endanger Israel, John McCain said.

I fail to see why AMERICAN kids should die for #$^ing Israel.

And I will not support a candidate who does not put America first, second, and third.
