GAZA APPEAL THE BBC & SKY REFUSED TO SHOW

Webmaster's Commentary:

HERE IT IS; THE VIDEO BBC DID NOT WANT YOU TO SEE!

When concerned people around the world wanted to donate to these people, who are homeless and without food, the BBC decided not to run a public service video because the appeal might be considered as anti-Israel. Yes… the BBC refused to run the appeal for this reason. This is because pro-Zionist Mark Thompson is a director at the BBC. Marcus Agius, a senior independent director at the BBC is married to a Rothschild.

BBC’s Mark Thompson Exposed for Refusing Gaza Aid Appeal

That Mark Thompson has been supporting Zionist leaders is no secret. In fact, Mark Thompson’s wife, Jane, is Jewish and a fanatic supporter of Zionist policies. Is Mark simply trying to appease his wife? If he is, then this has to be one of the most outrageous acts in the history of British media. The glaring disregard for human suffering, however, can only be explained by Mark Thompson’s close relationship with Israeli leaders. In 2005, Mr. Thompson broke all rules of independent journalism when he travelled to Jerusalem and met former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon in order to “build bridges” between the BBC and Israel. This unprecedented move was not covered by Western media, but the Israeli press gave it significant importance.

The BBC’s pact with Israel

The BBC’s refusal to broadcast a humanitarian appeal for Gaza on behalf of a group of charities is motivated by a desire to appease US advertisers for its commercial TV channel and website, and by Mark Thompson’s own political proclivities.

Many people have been shocked and bewildered by the BBC’s refusal to broadcast a national humanitarian appeal for Gaza on behalf of the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC), an umbrella organization for 13 humanitarian aid agencies.

However, the decision by the BBC’s director-general, Mark Thompson, not to broadcast the appeal should have come as no surprise. In fact, media observers have been witnessing a steady tilt by the corporation towards Israel since the turn of the millennium.

Is the BBC continuing to act as broadcasting arm of Israel

BBC bans aid to Gaza: Convoy needed more than ever, Galloway

George Galloway, who is organising an aid convoy to Gaza leaving London on St Valentine’s Day, 14 February, says:

BBC Stops Aid To Gaza: Protest 24 January

If the BBC had not already been tarnished enough by its coverage of Israel’s attack on Gaza – often looking like, in the words of Tony Benn, “a propaganda wing of the Zionist lobby” – its decision yesterday to block an appeal for emergency aid to Gaza would be reason enough for making the BBC a focus of our demonstration on Saturday 24 January.

Let the BBC know your concern over their blocking of a charity fundraiser for the Gaza survivors.

BBC faces protest for blocking Gaza appeal

Hundreds of protesters are expected to gather outside Broadcasting House in London today after the BBC defended its decision not to broadcast a public appeal to raise funds for Gaza.

The corporation said the decision was taken with other broadcasters not to show the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) crisis appeal because of impartiality concerns.

Webmaster's Commentary:

It is BBC's "impartiality" which is on display here.

The BBC Takes Sides In A Human Disaster

This is a not a political issue and does not involve taking sides.

It's about helping thousands of wounded people and millions displaced. It's helping "Katrina"-type victims but on a much larger scale.

By BBC not participating, it proves the power of Israel is not just over George Bush, the US Congress and America but also over the UK.

Webmaster's Commentary:

You know, this is where Israeli arrogance kicks in. They are in a bad position, but their pride will not let them back down. They are going to fight this PR war harder and harder and harder in the hope they can simply browbeat the world into seeing things their way and all that will really happen is that Israel's true subversion of western nations will become more visible.

"I want to tell you something very clear, don't worry about American pressure on Israel, we, the Jewish people control America, and the Americans know it." Ariel Sharon to Shimon Peres, October 3rd, 2001, as reported on Kol Yisrael radio.

"Evidence linking these Israelis to 9/11 is classified. I cannot tell
you about evidence that has been gathered. It's classified information."

BBC spurns Gaza appeal

Webmaster's Commentary:

"Hey, we're owned, and we KNOW we are owned, and more to the point we know WHO owns us, so hand me my knee pads and get the hell out of here; I have work to do!" -- ABCNNBBCBS

ITV and Channel 4 to air Gaza appeal as pressure mounts on BBC

Agreement reached between majority of commercial networks to show appeal as protesters picket BBC.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Apparently "impartial" in the British media (especially BBC) actually means "Not offensive to Israel."

BBC attacked by Ben Bradshaw for refusal to broadcast emergency fund appeal for Gaza

Ben Bradshaw urged the BBC to "stand up" to the Israeli authorities and broadcast the appeal.

A former BBC journalist himself, Mr Bradshaw said the broadcasters' decision not to carry the appeal by the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) was "inexplicable".

Webmaster's Commentary:

No, you explained it very well. Israel demands the BBC not carry the appeal and BBC obeys and bows and kisses Israel's feet (or other bodily part).

Shake up at BBC - new Director General in Charge

Benn accuses BBC over Gaza appeal

Veteran politician Tony Benn will accuse the BBC of a "betrayal" of its public service obligations following its decision not to broadcast a public appeal for funds for Gaza.

He will address a pro-Palestine rally called by the Stop the War coalition outside Broadcasting House in central London.

Israel’s stooges in Britain flex their muscles in government and the BBC

Urgent call to expose “Friends of Israel” in Britain

BBC crisis over refusal to broadcast Gaza appeal

The BBC was in crisis tonight as politicians including government ministers, religious leaders and senior members of its own staff condemned the decision not to broadcast a charity appeal to help the stricken people of Gaza rebuild their homes.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The BBC has decided to kowtow to Israel, and unfortunately has done so in a manner which makes it obvious to all what is going on!

BBC (America) is banned in this household and I suggest you all do the same. Drop BBC a message to tell them that you will not watch their channerl any longer.

BBC left isolated as rival channels back aid appeal

The BBC was engaged in a war of words with ministers last night over its refusal to broadcast an urgent appeal for humanitarian aid to Gaza. Government figures, aid workers and BBC staff expressed outrage that the corporation has not backed down, as some of its rivals did yesterday, and broadcast the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) appeal.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Any pretense to impartiality was lost by BBC when it became Israel's whore. and the damage is done. Even if BBC airs the program now, nobody will ever trust it as a Mideast news source ever again.

Crisis at BBC escalates as 11,000 complain over refusal to broadcast Gaza appeal

The crisis at the BBC over its refusal to screen an appeal for Gaza gained momentum today as complaints flooded in.

The corporation said it has so far received 'approximately' 1,000 telephone complaints and a further 10,000 by e-mail.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Check out the comments. The Israeli shills are very obvious.

The BBC's 'WTC 7 Collapsed At 4:54 p.m.' Videos

At 21:54 GMT on 9/11/2001 the BBC announced that WTC 7 had collapsed. There was just one problem with this news: WTC 7 did not collapse until 22:20 GMT.

Webmaster's Commentary:

As long as BBC intends to savage its own credibility, let us all help them along!

Tony Benn to BBC "If you wont broadcast the Gaza appeal then I will myself"

Webmaster's Commentary:

Do you swallow, sweetie?

BBC resisting pressure over Gaza

The BBC is continuing to resist pressure over its decision not to air an appeal for aid to Gaza, as the Archbishop of York joined its critics.

Rival channels ITV, Channel 4 and Five have now agreed to show the DEC appeal.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Stay firm, BBC. Stand by your guns! Prove to the British people that rumors of Israeli control of BBC are true! :)

BBC Hit Piece a Tissue of Lies, Bias and Emotional Manipulation

The BBC's Conspiracy Files documentary about 9/11 was a tissue of lies, bias and emotional manipulation from beginning to end. Producer Guy Smith should be ashamed of himself for inflicting this travesty of yellow journalism upon the 9/11 truth movement and he is assured to encounter a vociferous and outraged response in its aftermath.

BBC sorry for calling Jerusalem capital of Israel

The BBC apologized this week for referring to Jerusalem as Israel's capital, and promised not to repeat "the mistake," following a complaint by four British organizations.

Webmaster's Commentary:

There is a classic example of BBC's "impartiality" regarding the Mideast.

BBC Apologizes For 'Serious Breaches' In Documentary On Antiretroviral Testing Among Children

The BBC recently apologized to the New York-based Center for HIV Law and Policy for "serious breaches" in a 2004 documentary about antiretroviral testing among children in New York, London's Guardian reports.

BBC apologizes for phone-in glitch

The BBC apologized to British viewers who phoned in for a chance to ask questions on a popular show but had no chance of being on the show live.

On Saturday's Kitchen Feb. 10, host James Martin said viewers could call in for the next week ' s show, the BBC said Monday. However, the next installment was recorded just after the live show, providing too little time for callers to be included.

BBC lies!

Out of sheer boredom, I am currently finding myself sitting in front of my TV watching this BBC Webwise bollocks on BBC2. It's so inaccurate!

Truth, Lies, and the BBC

Executives at the British Broadcasting Corporation have finally been forced to admit what most of us have known for years - that the BBC's coverage of religious and political issues is inherently biased. A memo leaked to the media has revealed the details of a recent "impartiality" summit attended by senior figures at the BBC.

Webmaster's Commentary:

BBC has no idea the storm they have started.

Benn accuses BBC of appeasing Israel

A former British Cabinet minister says the BBC seeks to appease Tel Aviv by refusing to broadcast a humanitarian appeal for Gaza.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Dear BBC

By any chance does the name Neville Chamberlain ring a bell?

Massive protest against BBC makes headlines around the world.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Funny how ABCNNBBCBS isn't covering this.

BBC’s Scottish HQ Occupied

Activists have occupied the Glasgow offices of the BBC. The backlash against the BBC has been unprecedented. Having first slavishly followed the Israeli propaganda line, the BBC is now denying the collection of much needed aid for the long-suffering denizens of Gaza . This is not a trivial matter: as Tony Benn put it, people will die as a consequence of the BBC’s choices. And in this case, its choices have been dictated by the Israeli embassy.

Webmaster's Commentary:

BBC is government-funded media. That means that all pretense to the contrary, BBC belongs to the people of Great Britain, along with the airwaves.

If BBC prefers to defer to a foreign government instead of the British people, BBC deserves to be shut down.

Clamour for BBC to show Gaza appeal intensifies

More than 50 MPs will back an early day motion in the Commons today urging the BBC to reverse its decision. Douglas Alexander, the international development secretary, Ben Bradshaw, the health minister, and Hazel Blears, the communities secretary, all criticised the BBC. Shahid Malik, the justice minister, said he had not met anyone who supported the BBC's stance.

BBC's TV detector vans to remain a state secret

Although most detection is done by database the Beeb still claims to maintain a fleet of vans which can tell if a particular address contains a TV. If you buy or rent a TV or buy a PC tuner card in the UK your address is passed onto TV Licensing. The BBC maintains a database of 29 million residential and business addresses which it can check for up-to-date licences. If there is no response to letters an "enquiry officer" is sent to the address. If householders refuse them access - which is quite legal - then a detector van will be sent.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Just a reminder that the British subjects pay a license fee for BBC, which means it is a public trust. For BBC to carry out Israel's wishes regarding the Gaza fundraiser is a theft of service from the British people.

Send the lot of them to The Tower! (I'll pay the license fee just to watch that!)

BBC's Impartiality?

A COLLECTION OF DEC CHARITY APPEALS BBC HAS RUN IN THE PAST WITHOUT ANY CONCERN FOR IMPARTIALITY, UNDERSCORING THAT "IMPARTIALITY" IS MERELY AN EXCUSE FOR BBC TO DO WHAT ISRAEL TELLS IT TO DO.

Update: BBC occupation success

Over 100 people occupied BBC Scotland's headquarters today, demanding that the BBC show the Disasters Emergency Committee Gaza appeal.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Meanwhile, there is word out of a mass TV licenses revolt, with people either returning their licenses to BBC or burning them in the manner of Vietnam era draft cards.

To my American readers, please call your local cable provider and demand they disconnect BBC America from your service, or you will cancel your service outright rather than pay more money to BBC, the Blatantly Biased Corporation.

BBC rejects pleas of 50 MPs and 11,000 viewers over broadcast

The BBC will defy the pleas of charities, ministers and 11,000 members of the public today to become the only terrestrial broadcaster not to transmit an appeal to raise aid for Gaza.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I do not know how it works in Great Britain, but here in the US TV stations must document that they are operating in the public interest to renew their licenses.

Clearly, while BBC is operating in Israel's interests, it can be show to be operating contrary to the interests of the public that pays the bills.

As an historical note, newspaper publishers were common targets of the guillotine during the French Revolution.

The BBC – a crisis of confidence?

The refusal to transmit the Disasters Emergency Committee appeal has left it isolated and exposed. Its senior journalists feel betrayed, but dare not speak out because of their terms of service. Its old soldiers like myself cannot believe what we are seeing – or, in the case of the DEC appeal, not seeing. The argument that it should not be shown because the humanitarian disaster in Gaza was man-made does not stand up to a moment's scrutiny. The sufferings of the people of Darfur and the Democratic Republic of Congo were also the result of man's inhumanity to man. But those appeals were shown without objection. The BBC's management acts as if there is one rule for Africans and another for Palestinians.
